Celtic Knot Bonsai

Aims:

-To study the "way of display" in a manner that is both enlightened and progressive with a sense of vision that will encompass all that is excellent in bonsai as an art.

-To communicate our ideas and feelings through the use of space and by our choice and arrangement of objects within our displays.

-To not deconstruct our displays and the reasons with text or speech that is ineffective for transmitting true appreciation.

Respect.

Methods
The 4 R's

We wish to show consideration and appreciation for those viewing our displays.
We try and have a simple vision within each individual display we present that embraces the seasons and their changes
Rules and guideline are not as important as feelings within our displays.
The creation of the illusion of space is an important element within each display.

Reserve.

We wish to show within our displays self-restraint within our expression and to allow some of our feelings and thoughts
to be less obvious. Thus allowing those in the audiences sophisticated in display balance and creativity to read for themselves..
This is an important part of our work. Our displays can be enjoyed at many levels.

Refinement.

We aim to consistantly refine and fineness our taste within our displays.
Not every display will be to everyones taste. People have different tastes.
We will make the occasional mistake as we explore the boundaries of our own taste.

Restraint.

We wish to develop the ability to control our impulses and passions within our displays through self-restraint.
We try and approach all of our displays created with a "beginners mind."
